The law of copyright act reads (extract and own translation): “The author of an intellectual achievement has copyright to the achievement. In this law an intellectual achievement is understood as literal, artificial and photographical achievement, drawings, graphics, maps, translations and treatments of any of the above mentioned. The copyright gives, within the frames given in this law, monopoly to reign over the intellectual achievement by manufacturing it and making it available for the public. The author claims to be referred to by name according to general custom, both on the intellectual achievement as well as when the intellectual achievement is made public.
